VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) Satellite Communication Systems & Networks.

VSAT describes a small terminal that can be used for one-way and/or interactive communications via satellite. VSAT networks offer value-added satellite-based services capable of supporting the Internet, data, video, LAN, voice/fax communications, and can provide powerful, dependable private and public network communications solutions. They are becoming increasingly popular, because VSATs are a single, flexible communications platform that can be installed quickly and cost effectively to provide telecoms solutions for consumers, governments and corporations.

The benefits of VSAT technology are being realized in many sectors, both private and public. From banks to administrations, schools to hospitals, and rural telecommunications, VSATs are being seized upon to elevate economic, educational, and health standards.

VSAT

Beyond simply providing satellite communication systems, PACE’s mission is to engineer creative ways to improve productivity and integration of VSAT Satellite Communication Systems for our clients. Our satellite communication VSAT systems can extend a client’s network for business and web-centric applications. This can be further integrated with proven third party applications with ViaSat satellite communications equipment to build the required network. PACE utilizes some of the most common and advanced technologies in VSAT communications such as DVB-S2, ACM, DOCSIS, Ku-band, Ka-band, C-band.

VHF / UHF Trunking Radio Systems & Networks.

Radio Systems provide 2-way wireless voice communication solutions which can be used in many applications like public safety, emergency services, transports and enterprise sectors etc. There are various types of systems from the simple point to point to the very complex mega system which can be deployed country wide.

The system can be in the form of Analogue, Digital or Trunked System and they are available in wide range of operating frequencies ranging from HF, VHF & UHF.

In comparison to Analogue & Digital systems, PACE suggests and advise its clients to opt for Trunked system. Trunked radio takes advantage of the probability that with any given number of user units, not everyone will need channel access at the same time, therefore fewer discrete radio channels are required. From another perspective, with a given number of radio channels, a much greater number of user groups can be accommodated. In the example of the police department, this additional capacity could then be used to assign individual talk groups to specialized investigative, traffic control, or special-events groups which might otherwise not have the benefit of individual private communications.

Fiber Optic Systems

Fiber-optic communication is a method of transmitting information from one place to another by sending pulses of light through an optical fiber. The light forms an electromagnetic carrier wave that is modulated to carry information. First developed in the 1970s, fiber-optic communication systems have revolutionized the telecommunications industry and have played a major role in the advent of the Information Age. Because of its advantages over electrical transmission, optical fibers have largely replaced copper wire communications in core networks in the developed world.

The process of communicating using fiber-optics involves the following basic steps;

  • Creating the optical signal involving the use of a transmitter

  • Relaying the signal along the fiber

  • Ensuring that the signal does not become too distorted or weak

  • Receiving the optical signal, and converting it into an electrical signal.

FOS

By leveraging its technology leadership, innovative design and cable management expertise, PACE fiber optic systems meet today’s requirements and provide a migration path for tomorrow’s applications. These advanced fiber optic systems include fiber optic cable, connectors, adapter modules, adapter panels, cassettes, enclosures, patch cords, cable assemblies, cable distribution products and accessories for both single-mode and multimode applications. Together, these components provide complete solutions for today’s high data rate Fibre Channel and Ethernet applications, and support future readiness for 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s data rates, maximizing physical infrastructure performance, modularity, and scalability.

Public Address & General Alarm Systems

Data Networking (LAN,MAN,WAN)

PACE offers data networking products including IP Routing, WAN access, and workgroup LAN, edge, and small-core switching products. These solutions break conventional business barriers by providing reliability, survivability, security, high speed QoS and remote connectivity.

Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) are becoming an integral part of any telecommunication network infrastructure. They are now the main communication backbone not only for data transfer but also to many other systems using Internet Protocol (IP). Thus it is becoming more important that the Network must be well designed with the appropriate equipments used. Network topology like Star, Ring or Mesh design can be used depending on the purpose of the network and its application.

Telemetry Systems & Networks

Telemetry is a technology that allows data measurements to be made at a distance. Telemetry normally encompasses data transferred over other media such as a telephone or computer network, optical link or other wired communications like phase line carriers. Many modern telemetry systems take advantage of the low cost and ubiquity of GSM networks by using SMS to receive and transmit telemetry data.

Today’s telemetry systems are built from commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products. But while they all have many common elements, they are each uniquely configured to meet specific application requirements.

TNS

A telemetry system is often viewed as two components, the Airborne System and the Ground System. In actuality, either or both may be in the air or on the ground.

Telemetry is widely used in many fields, some of which are the following:

  • Meteorology

  • Oil and Gas industry

  • Space science

  • Motor racing

  • Agriculture

  • Water management

  • Defense, space and resource exploration

  • Rocketry

  • Flight testing

  • Military intelligence

  • Energy monitoring

  • Resource distribution

  • Medicine

  • Fishery and wildlife research and management

  • Retail

  • Law enforcement

  • Energy providers

  • Falconry

  • Testing

  • Communication

PACE has highly experienced pool of engineers who have worked on a number of telemetry projects. The client needs to put a pin on the location and PACE will put a transmitter there for them.

Indoor & Outdoor CCTV Systems

A modern CCTV System consists of CCTV cameras, CCTV Recorder / DVR (Digital Video Recorder), a display monitor and of course all these need to be connected together using cabling & accessories. CCTV was developed and is still used primarily for surveillance/security of property, commercial anddomestic, however it is being utilized for many other reasons such as health & safety, factory/industrialproduction monitoring and even sports activity recording.
